The Roastery Coffee House

Welcome to The Roastery Coffee House! Home of fresh made soup and salads, sandwiches and fabulous baked goods all made daily in our kitchen.

Named one of the best "Java Joints" in the Queen West neighbourhood by NOW Magazine!

The café seats 42 people and is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Come and have breakfast or lunch, or plan a meeting at the "oval table." It's also a wonderful venue for special events — private parties, concerts, readings, you name it... just call to make your plans.

The café is a wireless hotspot through the efforts of  Wireless Toronto, a not-for-profit group of volunteers dedicated to establishing Toronto's free wireless community. The group's goal is to encourage wireless networking across our shared spaces and the development of community in interesting and innovative ways. For more information visit: www.wirelesstoronto.ca

Dwellings & Incursions: Photographs
presents images of industrial and natural environments. Photographed in various communities throughout Ontario with an eye to grapple with the reality; every past or current dwelling place was the result of an incursion and every current dwelling place is likely to be the site of a future incursion. The Dwellings & Incursions Project is an on going inter-disciplinary project first presented jointly at Rails End Gallery and Arts Centre in Haliburton ON and the Haliburton Sculpture Forest in 2006. These photographs were first seen in Sarnia at Lawrence House Centre for the Arts in 2009 as part of Dwellings & Incursions: Natural Selection & Community. Images of growth and decay, past & present, structures and ecosystems co-existing and recombining.
